I was brought into this world in the small town of Redmond, Washington. During my childhood personal computers, the internet, and mobile technology were just beginning to pick up steam. Living in Microsoft: The City exposed me to the cutting edge of computer development. My father is a statistical modeler/programmer/marine biologist/fisheries management expert, which further shaped much of my views on the world. I fell in love with all things STEM related, specifically the complex integration of technology, human expansion, and the limits of the environment which sustains us. The first ten years of my career was regrettably spent in financial services. Becoming a father in my thirties has prompted me to pursue my passion of electrical engineering. In addition to parenting and family time with my beautiful wife Leslie, I enjoy all things automotive and motorsports, saltwater aquariums, gardening, and exploring the great outdoors. I am thankful every day for the amazing opportunities I have had access to throughout my life.
